Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 1, 2025

Ike's Painting, LLC (“Ike's Painting,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at ikespainting.com (the “Site”) and when you contact us about painting services, how we use and share that information, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

01 Information we collect

We collect information in three ways: information you give us directly, information collected automatically when you use the Site, and information we receive from third parties.

Information you provide

  • Contact and estimate details — such as your name, phone number, email address, property address or service location, and any details you share about your project when you fill out our estimate form, call, email, or message us.
  • Communications — the contents of messages you send us and our correspondence with you.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data — such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see the Cookies & tracking section below.

Information from third parties

  • Analytics and advertising partners — we may receive aggregated or de-identified information about how visitors find and use the Site.
  • Referrals and reviews — if you contact us through a third-party platform (for example, a search listing or review site), we may receive the information you provided there.

02 How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide free estimates;
  • Schedule, perform, and follow up on painting and related services;
  • Communicate with you about your project, appointments, and invoices;
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
  • Understand how visitors use the Site and measure the effectiveness of our marketing;
  • Send you service-related messages and, where permitted, occasional updates or promotions (you can opt out at any time);
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues; and
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms.

03 Cookies & tracking technologies

We and our partners may use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and understand how visitors interact with our pages. Cookies are small files stored on your device.

You can usually control or disable cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some parts of the Site may not work as intended. To learn more about cookies and how to manage them, visit your browser's help pages.

04 How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information in the following limited situations:

  • Service providers — with vendors who help us run our business (for example, website hosting, form processing, email and scheduling tools, analytics, and payment processing), who are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety — when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Ike's Painting, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your direction — when you ask us to share your information or otherwise consent to the sharing.

Note on advertising. Some uses of cookies and pixels for analytics or targeted advertising may be considered “sharing” or a “sale” under certain state privacy laws. See California privacy rights for how to opt out.

05 Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — for example, to provide and document our services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and meet our legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

06 Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

07 Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access to it, request a copy of it, request corrections, or request deletion. You may also opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails or by contacting us directly.

To exercise any of these rights, please use the contact details in the Contact us section. We will respond consistent with applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

08 California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (the “CCPA/CPRA”), gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to know — to request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to delete — to request that we delete personal information we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to correct — to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to opt out — to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information (including certain advertising-related uses of cookies), if applicable.
  • Right to limit — to limit the use of any sensitive personal information, where applicable.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.

To submit a request, contact us using the information in the Contact us section. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, subject to verification. We will not charge a fee to process or respond to a verifiable request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.

09 Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, our Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC).

10 Children's privacy

Our Site and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12 Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Material changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
